Happy Hump Day

Ok so we are halfway through this week. Yay!!! So here's the deal for yesterday.
Food: shake, tea, water, cranberry juice, lettuce wraps, Denny's breakfast - bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes, and probably something I forgot.
Exercise: down 8 flights of stairs and 30 min on the elliptical.
The work outs aren't wiping me out as much and I am not sore the next day, so I guess I'm getting in better shape. I would like to take off 10-15 lbs so I look good when I go to Kentucky. Then I can try to take off the rest before we hit the beaches in SoCal this summer, and the weather better not suck this time.

Hello, anybody there?

Soon the only posts showing will be from me. :-( Anyway, for food yesterday shake, water, tea, 100 cal snack pack, pork chop, mashed taters, carrots, milk, lettuce wraps, dry cereal, fried rice and I think that is about it. I'm sure there were some snacks in there somewhere. For exercise I did 35 min on the elliptical, walked down 8 flights of stairs, and helped Julie try to make our white trash looking lawn look more cared for. Hang in there everybody. Somtimes life sucks and you have to push through it. Been there, done that and still bloody pushing through it. I love you guys, you have always been there for Julie, Jamison and I and we really appreciate it.

Also, still no word from Michaels cake decorating class. I don't like them anymore.

It's me again

So, it seems like this is becoming the Terry blog. Where is everybody??? Anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day had my shake, water, herbal tea, 100 cal snack pack, chocolate, 2 or 3 glasses of juice, some really good tortilla soup and a couple tomales for dinner and later some cereal for midnight snack. I was able to hit the elliptical for 35 min too, which is good because it freakin snowed yesterday and was too cold for me to take Jamison out for our walk. I want spring back, it dropped like 40+ degrees. Anyway after being stressed about the weekend and Monday it ended up that I only gained 1/4 lb so that isn't too bad. My goal for the week is to drop a couple more pounds and to keep up exercising every day, whether it is in the gym at work or walking at home.

Happy Tax Day

Yesterday was not a good food day...As normal I had my shake, much water, mint tea (herbal), somebody brought little chocolate rocks from Pier 39 (something like that), they called my name all day and I just couldn't resist grabbing a couple each time I walked by. I also ate tater cassarole, a fruit desert, cinnabon cake, a few chips, pasta salad and vegetarian lasagna that was for lunch, but just small portions. For dinner had breakfast, scrambled eggs with ham and french toast with home made strawberry topping. I didn't go to the gym due to the luncheon thingy, but I did go walking with Jamison while Julie went to the gym and we did about 1.5 - 2 miles about half of that up hill. So not the best day but it could have been worse, maybe. Anyway, I am afraid when I go to the gym today I will have found the couple pounds I lost last week.

YAY!!!

Ok, so I lost a couple pounds this week. Pants are still tight around the waist,but hopefully that will improve. Yesterday I had my shake, a lot of water, 1 - 100 cal snack bag, mac&cheese with tuna, chicken with pasta, salad, milk, 1-100 cal popcorn, and cheese nibs. I think that is all I ate. I walked down 8 flights of stairs and spent 30 min on the elliptical. I am going to try to not snack too much today as I will not be exercising because of my back. I am hoping to get to go and walk somewhere with the fam tomorrow, weather permitting.

I love that T & jm are the only ones who put up thier wieght. Wow julie...4000 really? ize gots to come kut uz out of yo casa..lol tardo anyways....... :) Sunday o.k everyone????? So I just realized i've been substituting other junk for cupcakes. I'm a srait up crack head .......I worked out a little yesterday, crunches, but stuff you know. I felt it a little this mrng. I have not been eating all my food at school. And on mon I turned down bacon wrapped hotdogs from another class, that was hard. So at night if i'm really hungry i'll eat a bowl of cereal. Oh and i've been taking the stairs still. That's all. Peace out homies good luck...and goodnight. I feel like carey bradshaw writing my column to LA instead of NY. lol meow

Ok, I am tired this morning. I started coming to work at 6am so I can take an hour lunch to work out. Yesterday to eat I had my shake, water, rice casserole w/ pork for lunch, for dinner did rice w/ chicken and ensalada, I also squeezed in some chocolate chips and a handful of toffee chips. I can't think of anything else I ate. I biked for 30 min and then did cool down on treadmill for 5 min., later I played guitar hero for a little bit - that's exercise too right, i was sweating. I don't care to put my weight up, my goal weight is 160 and I am currently 187.

I think we are lacking the shame factor. So I think we need to all put up our...wieght and have to report it every sunday, or once a week. I just thought sunday would work cuz know one works & is to busy. I haven't lost anyhting since we started this. So what do you guys think?

Wowzers!

Runnning late for work...I brought home cupcakes last night and ended up throwing them out after starting to pick....so that was better than worse :) I've been taking the staris at work inthe parking garage... :) I've been fighting the pizza crave :) Terry why are you eating shakes? They're so gross! blahhhhhhhhh lol um lets have a reunion in az in may, specifically memorial weekend, oh yeah and that's my bday weekend. peace out homies

Hola mi hermanos y hermanas,
And that about does it for my spanish... Anyway, I really love my shakes they seem to be working good and I have been eating lunch because i'm afraid Julie would be mad if I didn't. My appetite has decreased a lot during the day at work, but is still there at home, but I need some nutrition so it is good that I am hungry where there is healthy food to eat. I had my shake, a butt load of water, 1 of those dove dark chocolate squares (its for the antioxidants I swear ;-) , a serving of salmon, broccoli, mashed taters, 1 roll of fruit by the foot, salad, mac and cheese w/ chicken, more mashed taters, and about 10 cookies or so. I couldn't help it Julie made some really yummy coconut ones. Best news of the day, not even one mountain dew. YAY!!!

Ok, so I am trying to remember to update the blog every once in a while. I had a decent day yesterday if you take away the 2 mountain dews and cheeseburger. So what I hade yesterday for my intake was my Attain shake with "crave blocker" which I think actually works because I wasn't very hungry all day, but about 1pm I realized I would be in trouble if I didn't eat something before I got home. This is where one mtn dew and the cheeseburger came into play. The other mtn dew was an attempt to stay awake during our meetings. I forgot my boss brought in donuts so I had one of those too and fought the temptation of another one. Then I ate a bunch of mashed taters that Julie made along with broccoli and meatloaf. That is the extent of what I ate yesterday, for exercise I evacuated the building cause they thought it was on fire which required me to go down 7 flights of stairs and then back up again when they said it was just a burnt belt in the AC system. We did also walk to the church and back and that was maybe 100 yards or so. Some day I will start going to the gym at lunch again. Thats all for me.

torturing my kids at th gym



OKy so almost a week of no gym, because the kids have all been sick. Eric seems to be getting better, but Ethan is heartbroken everytime. I feel like I am being so heartless to him. But I go into class, and push as hard as I can reminding myself that I have to do this to be a better mom for him. This week has been hard with everyone being sick. But we have still been eating pretty good. But tonight I ate to many sweets. I think that it's the one week of the month I get too munchy, if you know what I mean.

I have had some yummy things for dinner. I will put some receipes on when I get a chance. I am really sick. and I think my ear infection is spreading to the other ear. It makes me worry that we

have all been so sick. Even Andrew is exhausted and his backs messed up. I feel so helpless when I can't fix my people. Hopefully the boys get better, and Elizabeth stays healthy.

Oh Andrew bought us new socks, that makes it fun to get dressed to work out.

And also we are trying to bump dinner up to 5:00 so that we eat earlier, and do something active between dinner and bed. Try eating earlier, it feels better.
